Thesis title: Resisting Metaphors: A metonymic approach to the study of creativity and cognition in art analysis and practice.
Research area: Interdisciplinary research combining Arts, Cognitive Linguistics and Philosophy exploring visual and sonic metaphors and metonymies in contemporary art practice and analysis.
Current research: Cognitive mechanisms of creative thought: metaphor, metonymy, synecdoche and literality. Meta-cognition for self-regulated learners.
