  1. This reminds me of the Devonshire coastline of childhood holidays; my Dad pointing out dark layers in the rocks that showed there had been a fire thousands of years ago. Seeing it this way creates a weird play with scale – I can imagine crawling into the cave that’s been created. The way the stack has collapsed and slipped is surprisingly geological and emotive in a less specific way too.
